Meet my special (and in some cases, special-needs) cats,
and read their stories.

Major Barbara Underfoot:  My once-in-a-lifetime, one-in-a-million cat.  The inspiration and guiding light for this web site.  Major Barbara was mobility-impaired due to a spinal cord injury, and died of Feline Infectious Peritonitis.

Archy and Mehitabel:  My longtime companions.  Archy has Chronic Renal Failure and hyperthyroidism.

Tye:  The handsomest and most dignified cat who ever lived. Tye helped to heal my broken heart after I lost Major Barbara.  Tye had Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Chronic Renal Failure, and hypertension.

Lillybit:  The scrappy little street cat who adopted me, instead of the other way around.

Maddie:  The hard-luck kitten.  Maddie has had surgery to correct a prolapsed rectum, and she has Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
