I have a special needs chihuahua. He is 9 months old and has been sick since he was about 6 weeks old. He was born not breathing, so my husband revived him with CPR. At about 6 weeks he developed a liver infection, and at about 8 weeks he developed pneumonia which lead to him having pulmonary fibrosis. It's just like cystic fibrosis in humans. He is on theophylline 2 times a day at least and he can't play like the other dogs can because he is always having a hard time breathing. We love him very much and it would be nice to talk to other parents who have a puppy like this.
i have a puppy with pneumonia
she is a chihuahua and is four months and a week old and she was breathing irregular and a week later after we noticed that she breathed a lot we took her to the vet and they said she more than likely has pneumonia and im so distraught of the fact of losing her because she wasnt supposed to live at all because she was a runt, im so scared that after the infection is fought that her immune system will be strong enough to defend her , i hope you can give me some guidance thanks
