Hi everyone.
My name is Carol and I have a 15 year old boxer, Boss, who has an inoperable heart condition, arthritis, deaf and going a little senile although she still communicates with us and wags her tail when she is happy. I don't think she is in any pain.
Just woundering if anyone out there has a similar problem.
She has a fairly good diet, much like our own but I feel that some vitamins may help her along however I am not sure what would be good for dogs.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Carol
Trying To Know if it's time
My dog, Kenya is almost 15 years old, She doesn't seem to enjoy much of anything anymore. She can't see or hear very well at all. She isn't anything like she was just 6 months ago. I feel like I'm keeping her here because I can't seem to let go. If anyone is dealing with the same thing, please let me know. I really could use some input. Thnk you so much.
11 yr old boxer.
Hi, I have an 11 year old boxer dog named George. Last year he started to 'forget' if he needed to go to the toilet to pee and just go by his bed and then cry afterwards.
We took him along to the vets who dismissed that there was a problem and said the is maybe a weakness of the bladder and gave us tablets saying that there was no need for the dog to be taking them on a permanent basis. The problem passed and George stopped having accidents.
Unfortunately George has started having his accidents again the past few months but lets us know if he needs to be let out to go toilet, however he wakes up numerous times during the night to do this! He is due his check up at the vets soon but i dont know if i should maybe take him a bit earlier
Anyone with any ideas??
